NJHerald.com reports that Quason Turner was struck and killed by a woman with a suspended driving license. Turner was trying to cross Route 130 in Pennsauken when Susan Hyland, 40, ran him down late Monday evening.
Hyland failed to stop after hitting Turner. A passenger in her car called 911 to report the collision but then hung up.
Authorities say Hyland has been charged with fleeing the accident scene. Her bail is set at $200,000.
