
Melissa graduated magna cum laude from The College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, NY, in 2007, where she attended on an Erasmus Scholarship. She majored in Communications with a focus on journalism. Following an internship at WABC-TV in New York City and a career as a newspaper reporter, she earned her J.D. cum laude from Pace University School of Law in 2012.
During law school, Melissa had the honor of representing asylum seekers and clients in various immigration matters through Pace’s Immigration Law Clinic. Another highlight of her pro bono work was representing women seeking temporary restraining orders due to domestic abuse in both Westchester and Yonkers counties.
Since graduating, Melissa has handled a wide array of personal injury matters, including workers’ compensation claims, Social Security disability applications, nursing home negligence, and medical malpractice. She also has experience with complex litigation involving construction defects, vertical transportation accidents, falls from heights, worksite injuries, and employment discrimination.
Melissa is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association.
